Public roadmap
Where Maevu is today and where it's going — built in the open, and generated from our own instance.
We build Maevu with Maevu. This page is our real roadmap — the same one that drives our work — published on purpose. It will change as we learn.
Now — the alpha
The one thing we’re focused on: a hosted playground you can actually use. Sign in, bring a backlog, get a plan you can share.
- Sign in to your own isolated workspace.
- Bring a backlog — import a Jira CSV export, or paste your items.
- Guided triage — group, order, bucket by quarter, split the work.
- Get a plan — a per-developer schedule and a daily calendar, aware of capacity, skills and calendars, with every decision explained.
- Share a read-only board or calendar link.
Next
Once the alpha stands on its own, we open it up:
- Live connectors — Jira and calendars that sync, not just CSV imports.
- Roadmap board — a lanes × quarters view with project, internal and external overlays.
- Requirements traceability — from a requirement to its release and its tests, as a coverage matrix rather than a spreadsheet.
Later
The wider vision — deliberately not in the alpha, but where we’re headed:
- Connector marketplace — install connectors like apps; build your own in a small, safe language aimed at business users.
- ISO 27001 evidence — compliance evidence that falls out of the work you already do.
- Self-host & single-tenant — run Maevu on your own infrastructure; larger teams get an isolated instance. The core stays open.
A note on pricing. We intend to be atypical: non-profits can request a discount or free access, and students use Maevu for free. The core is open and self-hostable. You pay us for hosting, support, and the premium pieces — never with your data.
